CamCor CT and PRO Series Hardware Manual

Section 8

Drive Coil Check

A diagnostic test can be conducted to see if the drive coil is free from any problem. If an error is detected upon diagnosis, 

there is a possibility that it presents a risk to maintaining accurate measurement. You are prompted to follow the instruc

-

tions given below:

Navigate to the 

Self-Diag

 screen as described in the Transition Charts in 

this manual, then touch “SEL1” to select “Drive coil”. The 

Drive Coil 

Check

 start screen will appear.

To run a drive coil check, touch “SEL3” to set up a zero flow.

To exit without running a drive coil check, touch “ENT,” then touch 

“SEL3.” You will be returned to the 

Self-Diag

 screen.

The 

Drive Coil Check

 screen will appear. The check lasts approximately 

30 seconds, during which the green LED will blink on and off.

If the resistance value is “NG,” an error with 

the drive coil was detected. If so, verify the 

sensor connections. If sensor connections 

appear OK but erratic performance persists, 

an open sensor is possible. Contact Camer-

on.

Touch “SEL1.”

Touch “SEL3.”

Touch “ENT.”

Touch “ENT.”

Touch “SEL3.”

CHECK FAILED

CHECK PASSED

If the resistance value is “OK,” no problems 

with the drive coil were found. Touch 

“SEL3” to exit the screen and return to the 

Self-Diag

 screen.

OR

To end the drive coil check, touch “SEL3” to be returned to the 

Self-Diag

 

screen.
