SEL3 Operation
The SEL3 operation is used to finalize and activate a numeric value that has been changed. In the following example, the
SEL3 operation is used to switch to the
Mode Select
menu screen.

S E L E C T
MODE SELECT
1 P a s s w o r d & D i s p
2 S e t u p
3 D i a g / S e r v i c e
4 M a i n t e n a n c e

Activate the SEL key in the lower left corner
of the screen by touching your finger to the
glass faceplate where “SEL” appears.
When the key responds, an “S” will appear
in the lower right of the screen (circled by a
dotted line in this illustration). On some
screens, “S3” may appear in place of “S.”
The “S” will become highlighted after 1/2
second.
Continue to hold your finger over SEL as
the “S” highlight cycles off and on.
On the third appearance of the highlighted
“S” (which will remain on for approximately
1/2 second), remove your finger. The
Mode
Select
menu screen will appear.

Viewing Variables
The figure below shows a flow diagram of the CT series sensor default settings and describes the various elements of the
display screens. The screen changes each time the SEL switch is touched. Touch the SEL switch repeatedly until the desired
screen appears.

Mass Flow: Instant mass flow rate. Decimal point placement
and units of measure can be configured (see Transition Chart 1,
No. 1-3-4-1 and Transition Chart 2, No. 2-1-1).
Vol Flow/Vol Flow(s): Instant volume flow rate. Decimal point
placement and units of measure can be configured (see
Transition Chart 1, No. 1-3-4-2 and Transition Chart 2, No. 2-1-2).
Vol Flow(s) indicates fixed density. Below 0.03 g/mL in density,
volume flow is fixed at zero.
Density: Fluid density. Decimal point placement and units of
measure can be configured (see Transition Chart 1, No. 1-3-4-3
and Transition Chart 2, No. 2-2-1).
Temp: Temperature. Units of measure can be configured (see
Transition Chart 2, No. 2-3-1).
Counter1: Number of counts for Pulse Output 1.
Counter2: Number of counts for Pulse Output 2.
For either counter, the reading resets to zero when it exceeds
“99999999.” Counters can be reset using the Count/Total Reset
function (see Transition Chart 6, No. 3-5-1 and 3-5-2). When a
pulse output-related parameter is changed, the respective
counter resets to zero.
