Activating the automatic lock mode – “Auto Lock”

The automatic lock mode prevents that the receiving channel is accidentally
changed on the receiver. The lock mode icon
on the standard display
indicates that the lock mode is activated.
For information on how to deactivate the lock mode, refer to page 12.
Adjusting the squelch threshold – “Squelch”
Possible settings: “
Low

Middle

Off
”
The squelch eliminates annoying noise when the transmitter is switched off
or when there is no longer sufficient transmitter power received by the
receiver.
