System 2013 PLL-9D

Audiology |

   Personal FM System

Description

The Mikroport 2013 PLL system, consisting of the EK 2013 PLL receiver for
the hearing-impaired person and the SK 2013 PLL transmitter for the
speaker, represents  a major advance in enabling people with impaired
sound perception to play a fully integrated role in education, the work-
place and social settings. The system has been designed using the latest
PLL technology. Operation is straightforward and very easy. The units are
compact, lightweight and unobtrusive when worn.

Mikroport offers the highest level of flexibility, with up to 16 selectable
frequencies. A major advantage of the system is that the gain of the
receiver’s microphone is controlled by an integrated automatic priority
circuit. When speech is no longer being transmitted, environmental
sounds are once again perceived at their original level. The transmitter
and receiver are powered either by exchangeable battery boxes (opera-
ting time up to 50 hrs) or by optionally available rechargeable accupacks
(operating time up to 18 hrs).
