CAUTION!
Danger of hearing damage and material damage!
If you switch the squelch off or adjust the squelch threshold to a very low
value, loud hissing noise can occur in the receiver.
The hissing noise can be loud enough to cause hearing damage or overload the
loudspeakers of your system!

Always make sure that the squelch is switched on (see above).

Before adjusting the squelch threshold, set the volume of the audio out-
put level to the minimum.
왘
Never change the squelch threshold during a live transmission.
