Establishing a Serviceable Powerbase
The Serviceable Powerbase is the launch point for many
service procedures. Throughout this Service Manual you
will be instructed to “establish a Serviceable Powerbase” or
“reassemble from a Serviceable Powerbase,” which means
to remove (or reassemble) the following components on the
Segway PT:

NOTICE
In some cases, the Serviceable Powerbase will be used as
a replaceable module. Note that the unit serial number
and InfoKey Controller are associated with the Serviceable
Powerbase.
