3.3.16 SO-DIMM DDR2 Connector
VIA CX700M
TM
chipset provides support to DDR2 memories. At this purpose, on board there is a
SO-DIMM DDR2 socket, type Tyco 1612773-4, a right angle, low profile socket, used for high
speed system memory applications.
3.3.17 Jumpers configuration
Some features of the board have to be set using the jumpers provided on the board:
JP1
set the voltage V
CCLCD
needed to drive an eventual LCD panel connected to connector
CN2.
Place jumper in position 1-2 to set V
CCLCD
at the value +5V
DC
.
Place jumper in position 2-3 to set V
CCLCD
at the value +3.3V
DC
.
JP2
controls if pin 2 of power connector CN15 can be used as an addi5V
DC
input rail, or
for legacy -12V
DC
.
Place jumper in position 1-2 to use pin 2 of CN15 as an input rail for +5V
DC
voltage.
Place jumper in position 2-3 to use pin 2 of CN15 as an input rail for -12V
DC
voltage.
JP4
controls voltage level of I/O signals present on PC/104+ bus (this control, according to
PC/104+ specifications, is made though pins 2A, B6, B25, C19, D23 of PC104+ I/O connector).
Place jumper in position 1-2 for +5V
DC
-tolerant PC/104+ signals.
Place jumper in position 2-3 +3.3V
DC
-tolerant PC/104+ signals.
In case no expansion card is used with PC/104+bus, this jumper can be left empty
