2. INTRODUCTION & SPECIFICATION
WARNING!
Ensure that the vehicle to be worked on is safely supported on axle stands.
Ensure that the trolley is in sound condition and good working order before use.
Keep trolley clean for best and safest performance.
only use the trolley on firm, level, unobstructed surface which is capable of supporting the trolley and wheel.
Ensure work area has adequate lighting
Keep work area clean and tidy and free from unrelated materials.
Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area.
Ensure all non essential personnel keep a safe distance when the trolley is in use.
DO NOT
overload the trolley - maximum capacity is
1200kg.
DO NOT
allow untrained persons to operate the trolley.
DO NOT
allow others to ride on the trolley.
DO NOT
use on tarmacadam as it may sink under load.
DO NOT
use the wheel support (fig.1.4) and the clamp support arm (fig.1.5) to carry a load, they are only to be used to balance the wheel.
DO NOT
drive the unit over edges, rough surfaces etc. when loaded, as the whole unit may overturn.
DO NOT
use trolley for purposes other than for which it is designed.
DO NOT
operate the trolley when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
Ensure that the locking mechanism (fig.1.6) is fully locked in place before moving the trolley to prevent the wheel changer from coming apart.
only operate the trolley from behind the wheel support. (fig.1.4).
Maintain correct balance and footing when moving trolley and ensure that the floor is not slippery.
Wear suitable clothing to avoid snagging. Do not wear loose jewellery and tie back long hair. A full range of personal safety equipment is available from
sealey.
Ensure that the trolley is pumped fully apart, to relieve the fluid pressure before removing the oil reservoir cap (section 4.1).
replace or repair damaged parts.
Use only recommended parts. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
use a qualified person to lubricate and maintain the trolley. Do not use brake fluid to top up hydraulic unit. use approved hydraulic oil only.
When not in use store trolley, fully lowered, in a safe, dry, childproof area.

3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
Ensure that the vehicle to be worked on is safely supported on axle stands.
3.1
Lifting
3.1.1 Press and hold down the lowering pedal (fig.1.1) and pump apart using the pump lever (fig.1.3).
3.1.2 Adjust the wheel support (fig.1.4) so that the clamp support arm (fig.1.5) is positioned over the wheel to be handled.
3.1.3 Manoeuvre the trolley under the wheel so that the roller tables are positioned either side of the wheel and that the wheel sits up against the wheel support
(fig.1.4)
3.1.4 With the lowering pedal released, pump the roller tables inwards until the wheel and the trolley both make firm contact and cannot glide apart.
3.1.5 Lower the clamp support arm (fig.1.5) behind the wheel (fig.2) and adjust until the wheel is vertical and can be moved approximately 5 cm from side to side
to allow the wheel to be rotated on the roller table when re- locating the wheel studs. Lock the clamp support arm in position by tightening the adjustment
clamps.(fig.1.11 and fig.1.12) the angle of wheel support can be adjusted by the removal of the pin (fig.1.8) to accommodate different wheel configurations. (fig.3)
3.1.6 Lift the wheel by operating the pump lever (fig.1.3). the locking mechanism (fig.1.6) should be secured through the nearest location hole on the inner
member to prevent the trolley from coming apart.
3.1.7 once the wheel is clear of the ground, the handle (fig.1.14) can be moved into the additional socket (fig.1.13) to aid manoeuvreability.
3.2
Movement
3.2.1 Before moving the laden trolley ensure that the wheel is restrained by the clamp support arm with the locking mechanism engaged and the
roller table is as low as possible whilst still allowing clearance between the tyre and the floor.
3.3
Lowering
3.3.1 Loosen the clamp support arm (fig.1.5) by releasing the adjustment clamps (fig.1.11 and fig 1.12)
3.3.2 Lift and release the locking mechanism (fig.1.6) by turning in any direction.
3.3.3 Press and hold down the lowering pedal (fig.1.1) and operate the pump lever (fig.1.3) to pump apart the trolley.
3.3.4 Adjust the clamp support arm (fig.1.5) so that it does not catch on top of the wheel before manoeuvering the trolley clear of the wheel.
