5.  MAINTENANCE

 

NOTE: 

Service your tool regularly. This shall keep your tool in good working condition and extend its service life.

 use abrasive and corrosive agents to clean the tool. These types of products damage your tool.

 repair it yourself. Repairs and inspections should be performed by a qualified person or an authorized service centre (please  

  contact your stockist).

5.1. 

  

AFTER EACH USE

 

Check the rod and tool body for cleanliness, wear, damage, etc. If you notice damage, wear or malfunction, 

DO NOT

 use the tool and  

 

submit it to a qualified service for inspection and repair.

5.2. 

  

AIR FILTER

 

Check the air filter after each use. Remove the filter cover (fig.4) by unscrewing the central screw and lift out the filter housing.    

 

Remove the filter from the housing and clean it using warm water and detergent. Dry thoroughly before replacing. 

 

 

 

Change the air filter after each season (or after 50 hours of use).

5.3. 

  

SPARK PLUG

 

Check, clean and readjust, if necessary, the spark plug every 6 months. In case of replacement, contact the after-sales service.

5.4. 

  

GEAR OIL INJECTION PORT (FIG.7)

 

After 30 hours of use, change the oil. Remove the valve with a spanner. Drain the oil inside.

 

Add new special oil (gear oil, SAE 85W / 90, 150 ml maximum). Replace the valve.

5.5. 

  

STORAGE

5.5.1.   

Clean the machine 

 

Store the machine in a dry and safe place. It should be out of the reach of children. 

 

Place the machine in its packaging to avoid contact with the drill rod. 

 

When storing for long periods of time, empty the fuel tank completely.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to 
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely 
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids 
according to local regulations.

waste authority for recycling information.
