Aluminium framed stand-off, fits to any ladder. Offers superb stability at the top of a ladder with a wide span of 1000mm.
Positions ladder 360mm away from work area. Fitted with rubber feet to help prevent slipping.

4. MAINTENANCE
4.1
Periodically check that all nuts are tight and secure, but
DO NOT
overtighten.
4.2
Check that the rubber feet on the Stand-Off are in good condition and are not
worn, replace if necessary.

3.1
Stand-Off Assembly.
3.1.1
Assemble the stand-off as Fig.1, bolt the ribbed plate onto the main frame make sure
that the ribbed side is facing outwards, secure with bolt, washer and nuts (Fig.1a).
3.1.2 Attach the support bar to the main frame using a bolt washer and nut, choose which side you wish to have the paint hook and
include that between the frame and washer (Fig.1b).
3.2
Attach the Stand-Off to the ladder.
3.2.1
The Stand-Off is secured to the ladder with the two U bolts, washers and thumb screws (Fig.1c, Fig.2), ensure that the angled
ribbed plate is flush with the angle of the ladder.

GENERAL SAFETY
DANGER! Take care when using and moving ladders in the vicinity of power cables - risk of potentially fatal electric shock.
WARNING!
Ensure Health and Safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to when using this
equipment.
Familiarise yourself with the application and limitations of the ladder stand-off, as well as the potential hazards.
Maintain the equipment in good condition.
Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
WARNING!
Use ladder on level and solid ground and either have an assistant stand on the lowest rung or otherwise anchor the base of
the ladder to prevent slipping. When viewed from the front, the top of the ladder section(s) must always be directly above the base.
Place ladder at an angle of 65° to 70° - foot of ladder 1 metre from wall for each 3 metres up - for stability.
Where possible, lash top of ladder to a fixture to prevent slipping.
WARNING!
Never over-reach when on the ladder stand-off.
Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
DO NOT
use the ladder stand-off for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.
DO NOT
use the equipment if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.
DO NOT
allow children to climb the ladder.
DO NOT
use the equipment when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
When not in use store in a safe, dry, childproof area.
