2.  INTRODUCTION

 

Zinc die-cast pump head with solid steel pump. High-volume, low-pressure output for filling auto chassis lubrication reservoirs.    

 

Central lube coupling supplied with spare plug-in adaptor.

4.  ASSEMBLY

 

Unpack the product and check contents. Should there be any damaged or missing parts contact your local supplier immediately.

4.1. 

  

Insert pump assembly (fig 1 - 1) through cover plate (fig 1 - 5) and secure in required position by tightening locking screw              

 

(fig 1 - 9).

4.2. 

  

Remove pin (fig 1 - 3) and R clip (fig 1 - 4) from handle (fig 1 - 2).

4.3. 

  

Align end hole in pump piston rod with hole in handle and locate pin through. Re-attach R pin. 

4.4. 

  

Attach hose (fig 1 - 6) to pump outlet and secure with hose clamp (fig 1 - 7).

4.5. 

  

Thread male adaptor (fig 1 - 10) onto hose end. Use thread sealant.

4.6. 

  

Thread delivery tub (fig 1 - 12) onto female coupler (fig 1 - 11) and insert into male adaptor.

4.7. 

  

TO REMOVE AIR POCKETS IN CONTAINER

4.7.1. 

  

Take a 12.5kg container of grease and hold the container about 25mm above the ground and taking care allow the container to drop  

 

to the floor, the effect of which will settle the contents.

4.8. 

  

ASSEMBLY OF PUMP TO THE CONTAINER

4.8.1. 

  

Remove the lid from the container.

4.8.2. 

  

Install the pre-assembled pump unit and cover plate onto the grease container until it seats firmly and secure with the 3 retaining   

 

wing screws (fig 1 - 8).
