INSTRUCTIONS FOR:

MOBILE OIL DRAINER 36ltr, 80ltr MANUAL 

DISCHARGE

1.1  GENERAL SAFETY

 

WARNING!

 

Ensure Health & Safety, local authority, and general workshop    

 

practice regulations are adhered to when using this equipment.

  Familiarise yourself with the application, limitations and hazards of the oil    

 drainer.

 

Maintain the

 

drainer in good condition (use an authorised service agent).

  Replace or repair damaged parts. 

Use genuine parts only. Unauthorised    

 

parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.

 

Keep the work area clean, uncluttered and ensure there is adequate  

 

 lighting.

  Keep the drainer clean for best and safest performance.

 

Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not slippery and    

 

wear non-slip shoes.

  Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area.

 

DO NOT

 use the drainer for any purpose other than that for which it is  

 

 designed.

 

DO NOT

 operate the drainer if any parts are damaged or missing as this    

 

may cause failure and/or personal injury.

 

DO NOT

 stand on the drainer.

 

DO NOT

 allow untrained persons to operate the drainer.

 

DO NOT

 operate the drainer when you are tired or under the influence of    

 

alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.

 

When not in use, store in a safe, dry, childproof area.

  Dispose of waste oil in accordance with local authority regulations.

 4.  ASSEMBLY

4.1. 

Insert the lower tube through lower tube clamp and secure by tightening the clamp.

4.2. 

Place the tool tray over the lower tube.

4.3.

  Insert the upper tube into the lower tube.

.  Slide the upper tube retaining clip down the upper tube (press the two ends together to release the grip) until the clip rests on the lower 

tube    

at the required level.

4.5. 

Place the drain pan on top of the upper tube.

5. OPERATION

5.1.

  Place mobile oil drainer under the equipment to be drained. Raise the drain pan beneath the equipment’s drain valve or vent.

5.2.

  When draining is complete, lower the drain pan before removing the drainer.

5.3.

 

EMPTYING OIL DRAINER (AK36D.V2)

5.3.1. Disconnect the drain pan and release the tubes from the reservoir. Remove the cap from the drain port.

5.3.2. Using the hand grips, tip the reservoir  to dispose of the waste oil into a suitable container.

5.4.    EMPTYING OIL DRAINER (AK80D.V2) by gravity.

5.4.1. Connect a drain hose to the drain tap.

5.4.2. Empty the reservoir by opening the drain tap and draining by gravity to a lower level tank.
