TORQUE ADJUSTMENT THROUGH BY-PASS VALVES

(operating pressure for anti-crush safety)

PRELIMINARY NOTES:

- At the first installation the manual release is not yet mounted (Fig. 33 - 34), so after the by-pass valves
adjustments (Fig. 35 - 36) by using the

, it can be mounted as shown on pages 18

provided special key «

 »

or 19, according to the release model.

- All the successive adjustments of the valves  (eg. periodic maintenance) should be made by unscrewing the
by-pass cover only (Fig. 38). The pressure of the by-pass valves can be adjusted with the provided special
key «

A

 » (installer equipment) (Fig. 39)

The  opening  and  closing  forces  transmitted  to  the  gate  by  the  motor-pump  assembly  are  regulated  by
adjusting two by-pass valves; the grey valve adjusts the opening pressure while the yellow valve adjusts the
closing pressure. To increase the operating pressure turn valves clockwise; to decrease turn anti-clockwise

THE MAXIMUM THRUST FORCE DURING THE MOVEMENT, MEASURED AT THE LEADING EDGE OF THE
LEAF,  IS  SUBJECTED  TO  THE  LAWS  IN  FORCE  IN  THE  COUNTRY  WHERE  THE  GATE  IS  INSTALLED

NOTE:

 Regulate the opening and closing

forces of the gate respecting the Laws in
force;
The  thrust  force  however  must  not  be
superior than 15 KgF

CAUTION:

The valves must be adjusted

in  parallel,  there  must  be  no  calibration
differences  between  them  (ie.  between
opening  and  closing).

Example:  if  you

adjust the gray valve by half a turn, then
the yellow valve must also be adjusted in
the same way
