2.1.3 Brake fluid

Never mix the brake fluid with different brands. If you want to replace new oil that is
different from the used one, drain the used brake fluid radically, and conduct a feasibility test
before replacement, or the problems caused by the replacement of brake liquid will lead to
the failure of brake and cause accidents. SDLG Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. will not be
responsible for the results.

In order to maintain and use your machine, please use the specified brake fluid according to
the requirements of SDLG.
2.1.4 Lubricant
z
Lubricant is used to reduce noise and prevent wear on the joint surfaces.
z
Joints not included in the manual (connectors, jointing sleeves) are treated during overhaul.
So they do not need be lubricated. When some parts become inflexible because of long-term
operation, it is necessary to add lubricant.
z
Remember to wipe off the overflow lubricant when adding it.
2.1.5 The Storage of Oil and Fuel

Prevent water, dirt or other impurities from mixing with the oil.
z
Follow the rule, first in first out, to maintain oil quality during long-term storage (Use the oil
with the longest shell life).
2.1.6 Filters
z
Filters are extremely important safety components. They can prevent impurities in the fuel
from entering important equipment and causing problems. Replace all filters periodically.
For the maintenance cycle, refer to
3 CONTENT OF MAINTENANCE
, in this chapter.
Replace filters at shorter intervals when the machine works in a severely bad environment.
z
Never
try to clean paper filter elements and use them again.
Always
replace them with a
new one.
z
When replacing the oil filters, check whether there are some metallic particles adhering to
the old filter. If some metal particles are found, consult the maintenance people.
z
Never
open the packs of new filters until they are used.
z
Always
use authorized filter parts.
