Purpose
This document explains the process for replacing the swing arm on a Sci-Print MP2 or MP2+.
Intended Use
When the swing arm requires changing.
Required Material and Equipment
Sci-Print MP2 or MP2+
2mm allen wrench
3mm allen wrench
Intended Audience
Certified Scinomix Technician
Prerequisites
N/A
Procedure
1. Power off instrument
2. Turn air supply to instrument off
3. Using a 2mm allen wrench remove the four screws for the swing arm tower housing, and
set housing aside.
Note
: The fourth screw (not seen in Figure 1 below) is behind the swing arm; swing it to
the other side for access.
