The device will only r
ecord logs if the date/time has been configured.
If date/time syncing is disabled, the device will use the user-
configured date/time, not correcting it until a new configuration is applied. Hence, if the
device is shut down d
uring a power outage, it will not log data to the memory or publish data to
NOVUS Cloud
until a new configuration is r
eceived.
If date/time is enabled, the device will synchronize the date/t
ime automatically with
NOVUS Cloud
or with the GPS interface, if enabled, w
hich has
higher priority.
If automatic syncing is enabled, the device will automatica
lly resume data logging and publication after power returns. If automatic syncing is
disabled, the device will not resume data logging and publ
ication after power returns, with both actions suspended until a new configuration is
entered.
