SEL-2020 Instruction Manual 

APPENDIX F:  SEL-2020 COMPATIBILITY 

The SEL-2020 is designed to work with and was tested with SEL relays listed in the table below, 
plus all SEL relays released after December 1994.  It should work with most older relay firmware 
versions, but some firmware will not be compatible.  If you have an old version of relay firmware 
and experience difficulties using it with the SEL-2020, you should upgrade the relay firmware to 
the current version.  The date code is a part of the FID string found at the top of each long event 
report.
