Disassembling the module 

Position of the position numbers 

(

1   Remove the compressed air lines. 
2   Undo the screws (47) and remove the cover plate (5). 
3   Mark the installation position of the piston (3) and the base 

jaws (2). 

4  Undo the screws (41) and remove the cover (4). 
5   Mark the installation position of the cylinder piston (6) in the 

housing (1). 

6   Unscrew lock nut (13) and remove cylinder piston (6) from 

the housing (1). 

7   Push the piston (3) upwards out of the housing (1). 
8  Pull the base jaws (2) out of the housing (1). 

 

Maintenance of the module 

  •  Clean all parts thoroughly and check for damage and wear. 
  •  Replace all wear parts / seals. 

The seals are in the enclosed sealing kit. Link sealing kit 

  •  Treat all greased areas with lubricant.

. For this, remove the cover plate. 

  •  Oil or grease bare external steel parts. 
 
In addition to the described maintenance, the guides of the grip-
per can be re-lubricated as needed by means of lubricating nip-
ples.
