Remarks and information in the display (standard, accu)
Ignition control “Check gas supply”
In case during automatic (re-)ignition the burner may not produce a flame after 10
seconds, the schuett phoenix II automatically and permanently shuts the gas supply.
The display shows “Check gas supply“. See “Troubleshooting”, page 32.
Permanent burning control “Clean burner head”
If the flame stops due to e.g. spilled liquids and the burner may not be re-ignited,
the gas supply is automatically and permanently shut. The burner head is soiled and
the display shows the remark “Clean burner head”.

Warning “Hot burner head“
If the flame has been burning for a longer time, the burner head is hot, the display
mentions this . Even after switching the burner off, a blinking remark is shown in
the display. It disappears automatically as soon as the burner head has cooled
down.
Wait until this remark vanishes, touching the burner head before may cause
burns!
Warning “Burner overheated“
The schuett phoenix II is suitable for continuous operation (120 min) at fully
opened gas and air supply, the burner may not overheat. However, if the burner gets
too hot due to inappropriate conditions such as back reflections of heat or
unfavourable setting of flame, the device automatically switches off. The remark
“Burner overheated” is shown in the display.
Wait until the burner has cooled down, the display automatically returns to
the last chosen operating mode.
Controlled burn-time/remaining time – safety shutdown
Digital and exact to the second adjustable (1 sec … 120 min), safety shutdown after 120 minutes.

Sensor distance (approx. 0 to 80 mm)
The distance is adjustable in 4 steps.

Adjustable sensor activation
1x operation /2x operation, display of sensor indicator lamps, sensor turns flame off.

Flame control
In case of unexpected extinguishing of the flame, it is automatically re-ignited, so that the work
does not need to be interrupted.
