9.1. Deviation between
capacity display of
the control unit and
charger
In very rare cases, it may happen that the display of the
capacity on the control unit (3) does not match the
charge indicator on the charger (13). This can occur if the
battery has not been used for a long time and has been
stored with low charge or if only short discharge and
charge cycles have been performed during operation.
In this case, a new battery learning cycle must be per-
formed:
• Plug the affected battery pack into the EyeMag ® Light II
and switch it on at full brightness.
• Stay turned on until the application turns itself off.
• Fully recharge the discharged battery in the charger
After this procedure the battery pack is calibrated again.
REMARK!
If the capacity indicator on the control unit (3) is green,
the charger will not start charging automatically. The
charger (13) can be forced if necessary to charge by pulling
and replugging the power plug from the main power.
