WARNING
Danger due to moving loads
If components are accelerated when guiding the load, they will not stop of their
own accord, due to the flexibility of the chain. There is a risk of people being
crushed or struck.
►
The operator must not leave the control handle of the load-bearing device when
a load is attached to the chain hoist.
►
The load must be pushed rather than pulled to prevent persons being crushed
by the load if it should fall.
►
When working on the chain hoist, it must be secured against access by others.
The chain hoist must not be used while work is being performed on it.
►
Loads must not be left suspended.
►
Once work is complete, the chain hoist moist must be moved into a position that
does not present any danger or obstruction.
CAUTION
Risk of limbs being crushed or trapped when guiding the load on the
chain
Skin and fingers can become crushed or trapped between the chain links.
►
Always guide the load using the control handle on the load suspension device.
►
Wear work gloves
See the operating instructions for the lifting device.
6.5 What to Do in an Emergency
