Raw material supply
Feeding unit
The feeding unit closes after touching the
[LOAD] or [CLOSE] key on the touch screen,
clamps the raw material and feeds it via the
feeding belts through the guides up to the grip-
pers of the swivel arm.
Guides
On the inlet of the feeding unit we find the entry
guide

, which can be locked through the set

The swivel arm guide is on the feeding unit
locked with the lever

and on the gripper side
with the lever

The standard guides are contained in the acces-
sory kit.

General units
Swivel arm unit / gripper
The raw material is fed forwards through the
guide

and next to the gripper

where it is
clamped. The swivel arm positions it on the cut-
ting unit and performs a zero cut before it is pro-
cessed further on.
The contact pressure of the grippers is as men-
tioned in chapter "5.3.1.10.2 Compressed air con-
trol (Page 42)" set by the compressed air valve.
Through the dial

the gripper opening is set to
the current raw material diameter.
The raw material diameter can be set on the dial
in the range from 0.5 to 5.5 mm.
Always select the next higher diameter step on the dial.
