PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This chapter gives a description of product specifications, information on the limits of the product
and points on the scope of delivery. The individual parts are shown and described by photographs.
Further provides the product description information about the functioning and the operation
modes.
5.1
CONCEPT
The
CoaxCenter 6000
is designed for cutting and stripping of coaxial cables, as well as single conduc-
tor wires and other material in the range of AWG 40 to 5.5 mm outer diameter. The
CoaxCenter 6000
is
of a flexible design extendable with processing stations for crimp, tin and/or window stripping. Fur-
thermore it can be completed with a quality control station for stripping and individual stackers.
Operating the machine is done via the control software
S.QAR
on a menu guided touch screen. All
production data, inclusive 3D-images of the quality control. can be saved and recalled at all times.

5.1.1
Functional steps (sample set-up)
The following describes the steps a raw material is following throughout the production:
1. The coaxial cable is inserted coming from the pre-feeder, through the wire straightener and then
into the feeding unit (manual action).
2. Following to the loading command in the control software, the feeding unit feeds the raw materi-
al up to the cutting unit, clamps it with the gripper of the swivel arm and performs a zero cut (this
way it is guaranteed that the first produced article has the correct length).
3. The gripper (side one) if the swivel arm clamps the raw material and positions it on the rotary
incising unit (side one), where the appropriate layers are stripped.
