SAFETY SYMBOLS IN MANUAL
In this manual, the warning hints are supplemented with the following symbols. They refer to poten-
tial danger.
Symbol
Meaning
Description
Electric current!
There is danger of electric shock inside the machine. There-
fore before opening the machine always switch off the main
switch and unplug it from the mains. Touching any ener-
gized component leads to serious injury or death.
Do not reach into!
There is a general risk of injury from rotating parts in the pro-
cessing area.
When reaching into the feeding area during production, the
user can infringe on the fingers.
The safety covers must always be closed during production.
Electric current!
There is a danger of electric shock by contact with parts
inside the machine and on the mains socket. Therefore
before opening the machine always switch off the main
switch and unplug it from the mains. Touching electric com-
ponents can cause injury to the operator personnel.
General danger!
Notes and instructions with this safety symbol should be fol-
lowed strictly. Disregarding may lead to injury and damage
to the machine.
Injury of hands!
On the marked positions, there is a risk for injury of hands.
When reaching into the operating area of the machine dur-
ing production, the user can be injured.
General danger
zone!
There is a general risk of injury from rotating parts in the pro-
cessing area.
When reaching into the feeding area during production, the
user can infringe on the fingers.
Safety- and the lower covers must always be closed during
production.
Escaping processed
wires!
On the outlet the produced articles are fed at high speed out
of the machine. Escaping produced articles can injure eyes,
face and other parts of the body. Do not stay in this area if
the machine is running.
Electrostatic sensi-
tive components!
Electronic components react sensitive to static charge. Spe-
cially marked components and packaging must only be han-
dled by trained personnel after a potential equalization and
with special equipment.
