Blade change cutting unit
Task Replacement of outworn blades or changing the blade type.
Goal The cutting edges of the blades are in good condition. The optimal process-
ing quality is guarantied.
Duration 10 Min.
Interval As needed, when the processing quality is bad.

Prerequisite

Machine switched off and unplugged from the mains- and the com-
pressed air supply
■
Safety cover open
1.

Move the safety cover upwards.
2.
▹
Switch off and unplug the machine from the mains- and the compressed air supply.
3.
▹
Loosen the lever and move back the rotary
incising unit and the Q-Cam 360 (access to
blades of the cutting unit).
4.

Unscrew the two hex screws on the blades
and remove.
5.

Attach the new blades to the blade holders
and screw on.
Caution:
Observe that the surface of the
blade holders are clean. If blades are moun-
ted improperly, the cutting unit mechanism
may block and be damaged.

Move the rotary incising unit and the Q-Cam 360 into position and fixate.
7.
▹
Connect the machine to the mains and the compressed air supply and switch on.
8.
▹
Move the safety cover downwards.
9.
▹
Perform a calibration in the "Configuration - cutting unit".
