Auxiliary Equipment
Homelink can be connected to a range of auxiliary equipment in order to
help the user. You may wish to provide auxiliary equipment if, for example,
the user spends a lot of time in a separate room to that containing the
Homelink unit. All auxiliary equipment connects to terminals provided behind
the access panel at the base of the unit. Figure 2 shows the connections
block in detail.
Use standard connecting cable for all the auxiliary equipment mentioned
below. Remove the knock out tabs from the access panel to route the wires
from the terminal.
