Cancel Call (Help Arrived)
You can program Homelink to send a Cancel Call message to a monitoring
centre when a helper arrives. Set Cancel to "on" in the Reporting Map for the
appropriate telephone number to enable this facility.
When using a Homelink Extra or Homelink Extra II the carer triggers the
message by briefly moving the Privacy switch from its existing position, and
then back again within one second.
With a Homelink Extra II the helper can also trigger the message by pressing
the yellow button on the front of the unit.
Homelink bleeps once if the helper triggers the message successfully. (To
enable this feature fit a link to jumper 2, see Figure 1.)
If required, you can set up the Homelink Extra II to repeat an Emergency
Call if no one presses the Call Cancel (Help Arrived) button within 30
minutes of the original Emergency Call.
To do this you must ensure that there is a link across the jumper marked 1 in
figure below.

Emergency Call repeat timer jumper. Fit link to jumper1 to enable.
When enabled, Homelink repeats the Emergency Call message after
30 minutes if no one has pressed the Call Cancel (Help Arrived button).
This jumper is inactive if Call Cancel jumper has no link fitted.

Call Cancel (Help Arrived) switch enable jumper. Fit link to jumper 2 to
enable. When enabled, pressing the yellow button on the front of the
Homelink Extra II starts a Call Cancel (Help Arrived) message.
Notes: 1. Remover power from the unit before fitting or removing links to jumpers 1
or 2. Changes do not take effect until you re-apply power.
2. Do not use these functions if you are using the unit in speech mode only. If
you are then make sure there are no links fitted to jumpers 1 or 2.
