5.8.2. PORT B and C interfaces
PORT B and C share all the common specifications with other serial interfaces. They can be used as general
purpose data input/output. They operate in both RS-232 or RS-422 and include Sync In pin as well as +12V
output for signal translation purpose.
5.8.2.1. Connector specifications (rugged)
The PORT B and C connectors use an 8 ways female ODU connector (ref G81F1C-P08LFG00000). Other
manufacturers such as Fischer provide compatible plugs (Fischer Core Series). The connector mates with
plug ref S31F1C-P08MFG0-5500.
