If this is your final destination, guide the Roby away from the flight of stairs
and release the wheelchair as described in the section “Passenger Release”.

If there is another flight of stairs to descend, follow this step. Push and turn
the Roby and place it on the edge of the first stair of the next flight (see
Figure 22). Press the
descend
pushbutton until the
STOP
sticker (on the
base of the Roby) is parallel (Figure 21/a) to the edge of the first stair (Figure
21/b).

Raise the steering bar (Figure 21/c) until the tracks touch the lower step.
Press the
descend
pushbutton and descend to the next flight or, if the final
destination is reached, release the wheelchair.
