Moving loads
DANGER!
Hazard from falling load!
Risk of death from suspended loads!
Falling parts (e.g. from incorrect operation) can cause serious injuries and
even death.
■
Observe the safety instructions during the entire load handling process!
Do not step underneath suspended loads!
■
If the load tilts by more than 5°, immediately stop the lifting process and
set the load down again. Deactivate the lifting magnet, adjust the posi-
tion on the load and repeat the lifting process.
■
Do not leave suspended loads unattended!
■
Notify everyone in the surrounding area that handling is about to start.
■
Lift the load to be handled by a few centimetres and check that the lifting procedure is correct (load remains in
horizontal position without being held).
■
Check the safety of the load attraction while the load is lifted:
– Apply pressure to the load, e.g. tap with a hammer.
– If multiple thin sheets are lifted, they must not peel off. If necessary, use the
TIP-OFF
function to set down the
excess load.
■
Accompany the load while holding it at the edge. Avoid collisions, swinging and sudden changes in direction
and speed.
■
Place the load only on a solid, stable surface.
■
Set down the load in a controlled and careful process.
