6 COMMISSIONING
6.2 Connecting the battery
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
Press the buttons on the panel or on the remote control to activate the mag-
netising function or to initiate a demagnetising cycle. Ferromagnetic material
underneath the lifting magnet can be attracted spontaneously and cause
injuries.
■
Do not move any body parts underneath the lifting magnet.
■
Ensure that no ferromagnetic material underneath the lifting magnet can
be attracted accidentally.
1. Release and remove the two screws holding the battery cover in place (the battery is located under the rear
cover, see fig. 7).

2. Connect the power cables to the battery contacts. Attach the red cable to the (+) terminal and the blue cable to
the (–) terminal.

3. Re-install the battery cover and fasten with the screws.
