1 INTRODUCTION

Warranty conditions, guarantee and liability
We offer a one-year warranty for our devices, starting from the date of invoice. This warranty is limited to replacing
parts on which a defect was found.
The warranty for all SAV products is limited to deliveries within the Federal Republic of Germany. For deliveries
outside of the Federal Republic of Germany, the additional costs arising from work carried out abroad will be
charged.
The warranty excludes:

All types of wear which are the result of inexpert use without observing the information in the operating
instructions.
■
Downtimes of systems or machines cannot be charged for.
The manufacturer’s General Terms and Conditions for warranty and liability apply.
The T&Cs are available for download from our homepage.
The manufacturer excludes warranty and liability claims for injury and damage which are caused by one or several
of the following:
■
Use of the permanent lifting magnets contravening the intended use
■
Failure to observe the information, instructions and prohibitions in the operating instructions
■
Unauthorised structural changes to the permanent lifting magnets
■
Insufficient monitoring of wear parts
■
Maintenance and service work not carried out incorrectly or late
■
Failure to observe the stipulated annual checks for safe working loads (SWL)
To speed up execution of warranty and repair work, please always state the SAV classification number,
the SAV order number and the magnet number in all correspondence.

Copyright
These operating instructions are protected by copyright. All rights reserved. These operating instructions,
whether whole or in parts, may only be copied with express authorisation from SAV GmbH.
Violations will result in liability for damages and can result in criminal prosecution.
1.5
Delivery and scope of delivery
Upon delivery, check whether the lifting magnet was delivered completely and is undamaged.
Please contact us if any defects are found.
The scope of delivery includes:

Lifting magnet
■
Operating instructions for the lifting magnets (available for download from www.sav.de)
■
Type plate and instruction label attached to the magnet
■
Test certificate
