PARAMETER
DESCRIPTION
With the help of a Pitot tube and a K thermocouple, the instrument can also measure the velocity of a gas (air/fumes).
Power of burner
The measurement of thermal power in the fireplace can be performed according to different models depending on
the type of fuel selected.
Thermal installations fuelled by gaseous fuel
FLOW: if the installation includes a volumetric meter, the value of the volume flow rate (m
3
/h) of the fuel must be
entered.
COUNTER: this mode can be used if the installation includes a volumetric flow meter. The volume flow rate is
calculated when the generator has reached its velocity by reading the gas volume delivered for at least
120 sec. from the meter.
MANUAL: If the procedure has been provided for by the manufacturer of the appliance and the specific instructions
can be found in the operating and maintenance manual, the operator can reset the thermal power for the
fireplace and enter it manually. In the absence of a meter or other manual flow measurement system, the
manufacturer's declared nominal power shall be taken into account as the thermal power of the
measured fireplace.
Thermal installations supplied by liquid fuel
FLOW: for the calculation of the fireplace thermal power, it is necessary to enter the value of the mass flow rate
(Kg/h) of the fuel.
MANUAL: If the procedure has been provided for by the manufacturer of the appliance and the specific instructions
can be found in the operating and maintenance manual, the operator can reset the thermal power for the
household and enter it manually. In the absence of a meter or other manual flow measurement system,
the manufacturer's declared nominal power shall be taken into account as the thermal power of the
measured fireplace.
Ionis probe
By connecting the ionization probe (optional) to the serial port, it is possible to measure the ionization current of a
boiler and check its value according to its technical characteristics.
