2. Safety Instructions
Read and comply with all directions listed in the following. Non-compli-
ance or incorrect compliance can lead to malfunctions or severe injuries
and even death.
The particular national requirements for the air transport of lithium ion bat-
teries must be observed.
2.1. Requirements regarding personnel
The LED lamp may only be used by experienced skilled workers and in-
structed persons from an age of 16 years who have thoroughly read and
understood these operating instructions. People whose reactions have
been adversely affected by drugs, alcohol, medication or by any other
means are prohibited from handling the LED lamp.
2.2. Personal Protection Equipment
Always wear the approved personal protective equipment when using the
LED lamp and during cleaning and maintenance.
2.3. Safety Instructions
General
■ Never shine the LED lamp into the eyes of living creatures.
■ Comply with the local regulations for safety, accident prevention, oc-
cupational health and safety and environmental protection.
Installation site
■ Never install or use the LED lamp, battery and charger in explosion-risk
areas.
■ Keep the LED lamp, battery and charger away from ignition sources
such as naked flames, burning cigarettes or flying sparks.
■ Do not expose the LED lamp, battery and charger to rain and wet con-
ditions.
■ Do not expose the LED lamp, battery and charger to the effects of heat-
ers or direct sunlight.
Technical status
■ Never make any unauthorised modifications or technical changes to the
LED lamp, battery and charger.
■ Never use the LED lamp, battery and charger when damaged or if parts
are missing.
■ Stop using the LED lamp, battery and charger immediately if damaged.
■ Check the LED lamp, battery and charger for damage every time before
use and repair if necessary.
