10.8. Replace material sieve
Warning!
Risk of injuries from components coming loose or leaking
material.
Operation of the spray gun without a material sieve will lead to loss of
the sealing function.
→ Only use the spray gun when the material sieve is inserted.
Remove the material sieve
■ Unscrew the material filter housing [17-2] using the SATA universal
spanner (size 19). Hold with an open-end spanner (size 14) at the
threaded part [17-1] .
■ Remove the material sieve [17-1] .
Fit new material sieve
■ Insert material sieve
[17-1]
in material filter housing
[17-2]
.
■ Screw the material filter housing on and hand-tighten with SATA univer -
sal spanner (size 19). Hold with an open-end spanner (size 14) at the
threaded part [17-1] .
10.9. Replace suspension system
A suspension hook is pre-mounted as a suspension system. This can be
replaced using the supplied suspension eye if necessary.
Remove suspension system
■ Unscrew the countersunk screw
[18-1]
using the SATA Combi-Tool.
■ Remove the suspension hook [18-2] .
Mount a new suspension system
■ Position the suspension eye [18-3] .
■ Hand tighten the countersunk screw
[18-1]
using the SATA Combi-Tool.
11. Care and storage
Careful handling, together with constant maintenance and care of the
product, is necessary to ensure the functioning of the spray gun. Always
clean the spray gun, check its function and check for leaks after every
use. After cleaning, dry the complete spray gun with clean compressed
air and grease moving parts with SATA high performance grease (Art. No.
48173).
