8. First Use
The breathing protection hood is delivered in an assembled and opera-
tionally ready state.
Check after unpacking:
■
Breathing protection hood damaged.
■
Scope of supply complete (see chapter 5).
8.1. Personalise breathing protection hood
The breathing protection hood can be personalised with two CCS disks
[3-2]
. The hood is supplied ex works with two red CCS disks on the right
and left bolt
[3-1]
of the visor.
■
Push the CCS-disks out from the inside of the hood and replace it with
CCS-disks of different colours.
8.2. Adjust head straps
The head straps have four adjustment possibilities for the individual ad-
justment to the wearer. To adjust the head straps, remove them from the
hood shell as follows.
■
Remove the hood cover
[2-15]
and open the visor
[2-6]
.
■ Undo the rear fixing tabs
[4-3]
and release the front fixing tabs
[4-1]
.
■
Remove head straps.
Adjust head straps to head size.
