Checking for Voicemail Messages While Roaming
When you are roaming off the network provided to you, you may not
receive on-phone notification of new voicemail messages. Callers
can still leave messages, but you will need to periodically check your
voicemail for new messages if you are in a roaming service area for an
extended period of time.
To check your voicemail while roaming:

Dial 1+area code+your wireless phone number.
When you return to your home network, voicemail notification will
resume as normal.
SettingYour Phone’s Roam Mode
Your phone allows you to control your roaming capabilities. By using
the
Roaming
menu option, you can determine which signals your
phone accepts.
Set Mode
Choose from three different settings on your dual-band/tri-mode
phone to control your roaming experience.
To set your phone’s roam mode:

Digital
allows you to access the network provided to you
only and prevents roaming on other networks.

Automatic
seeks network service. When network service is
unavailable, the phone searches for an alternate system.
䡲
Analog
forces the phone to seek an analog roaming system.
The previous setting (Digital or Automatic) is restored the
next time the phone is turned on.
