SY500H Excavator OMM

Turn the switch to the OFF position when securing the
machine for the day, or as needed when performing
service.

NOTICE!

• Never turn the battery disconnect switch to OFF

while the engine is running.

• After machine shutdown, wait at least 2 minutes

for the engine control module (ECM) to complete
its shutdown before turning the battery
disconnect switch to OFF.

Failure to follow this notice could damage the
machine or cause it to operate improperly.

provide 24V power to the machine’s electrical system.
The batteries are under a protective cover (1) behind the
