Semiconductor Fuses 

Semiconductor fuses can be used with ASAC-0 soft starters to reduce the potential for damage to SCRs from transient overload currents 

and for Type 2 coordination. ASAC-0 soft starters have been tested to achieve Type 2 coordination with semiconductor fuses. Suitable 

Bussmann and Ferraz/Mersen semiconductor fuses are detailed below.
