Unable to playback BD or DVD disc
•
Assure that BD or DVD disc’s recording surface is not dirty. Clean disc if necessary
following the instructions on page 5 of this manual.
TV does not display video being played
•
Confirm that you have selected the proper input for the BD player from
your TV’s menu options.
•
Hookup BD player to your TV using the AV inputs
HDMI connection does not display video
•
Verify the connection
•
Verify that the TV has a HDMI input not and output connection
VIDEO DISPLAY PROBLEMS
Screen size
•
Verify that your TV has the proper screen size selected
•
Proceed with setting the “TV aspect ratio” as described on page 26 of this manual
Video Stops playing
•
Vibration or impact can stop playback. Press the play button to resume play.
HDMI picture is not displayed or not displayed correctly
•
Turn BD player off, disconnect the HDMI cable, then reconnect the cable securely.
Failure to turn the unit off before proceeding may result in the picture
not being displayed.
•
Turn BD player back on by pressing the POWER button on the front panel.
AUDIO PROBLEMS
No sound
•
Check the unit is connected correctly.
•
Verify the sound is adjusted on the TV or surround-sound system
•
Check the input selector of the amplifier is set properly.
•
Assure that BD or DVD disc’s recording surface is not dirty.
Clean disc if necessary following the instructions on page 5 of this manual.
•
During pause/slow speed playback/fast forward/fast backward, the BD player
cannot playback audio.
•
If BD, DVD disc recorded audio is not recorded to audio specifications,
the BD player may not be able to playback audio.
Left and Right speakers are at different levels, or only one side has audio
•
Confirm that all plugs are completely connected at all pieces of equipment.
More than one audio source is playing
•
Confirm audio settings and sources on all pieces of equipment are set correctly.
