1.5.6 GAS CYLINDERS
To prevent the turnover of gas cylinder or the rupture of gas flow regulator, be sure to
observe the following precautions
Turnover of the gas cylinder may
cause injury to the operator or
others.
If gas cylinder containing a gas
at high pressure is handled
improperly, high pressure gas
may flow out, causing injury to
the operator or others.
Handle
the
gas
cylinder
according to legislations or
regulations
and
your
company’s standards.
Use a gas flow regulator of the
proper size and is suited for
shielding gas type being used.
Read and follow all warnings,
safety
precautions,
and
instructions
in
Operating
Manual which is supplied with
the gas flow regulator prior to
use.
Fix the gas cylinder on the
special-purpose holder.
Gas cylinder shall not be
exposed to high temperature.
Keep your face out of the gas
cylinder outlet when opening
the gas cylinder valve.
Be sure to attach a protective
cap to the gas cylinder outlet
when not in use.
Prevent the gas cylinder from
being exposed to welding arc
generated from the welding
torch.
