14: EC Directives
The inverter meets the requirements stipulated in low voltage directive 2006/95/EC. The inverter is tested based on EN
61800-5-1:2007.
In case of installation in machines, startup of the drive inverters (i.e. start of designated operation) is prohibited until it is
determined that the machine meets the requirements stipulated in the EC Directive, observe EN 60204.
Startup (i.e. start of designated operation) is only permitted with adherence to EMC directive 2004/108/EC.
We think that our product meet EC Directives for low voltage equipment, and the product be furnished with CE marking.
[Important Things]
Ac power supply distribution for the inverter is TN or TT according to IEC 30364-3 and It is not allowed to be connected
to a.c. system with corner-earthed and IT power supply system.
This product is designed to be used under overvoltage category III and pollution degree 2 of EN 61800-5-1: 2007. The
inverter is not intended to connected directly to the supply mains, the inverter and programmable relay output a.c supply
rated for use at the AC supply voltage is intended to be fed by the secondary of the isolated transformer. The primary of
the transformer is fed from the supply mains, and the transformer complies with its own product standard.
For use as a product compliant with the Low Voltage Directive, use PVC cable whose size is indicated in

table 14-1
