Deleting files
After having recorded files to SD or USB media, you may later wish to delete them in order to
reclaim the space used. The DDR-62 can be used to delete individual files, or to delete all of the
media files on the media.
Deleting a single file
1. With the radio in USB or SD mode, and with the media inserted and the file you wish to delete
is currently playing, press and hold the Menu button.
2. Press the Folder Up or Down buttons on the remote control (or Tuning Up or Down on the touch
panel) until 'Delete this file' is highlighted on the display.
3. Press the Select button. The display will ask you if you wish to 'Delete this file?'
4. If you do not wish to delete the file, use the Folder Up or Down button to highlight 'NO' and
press the Select button to confirm.
Alternatively, to delete the file use the Folder Up or Down button to highlight 'YES' and press the
Select button to confirm deletion.
The file will be deleted and the details of the next file will be displayed. If there are no more files
left on the media, then the display will show 'No Music File'.
Note:
Once a file has been deleted, it is not possible to recover the file.
