Visually check that each lever latch is fully closed and correctly engaged with the notch
on the memory module edge.

Repeat step 2 - 6 to install the second SO-DIMM memory module in case two DIMM memory modules are required.
Use memory modules with the same memory density in both socket!
In case only one memory module is installed, we suggest installing it on the socket
DIMM1.

In order to close the device, proceed step 9 - 12 described in the subsection 5.1 "Opening and Closing the Chassis".
5.1.2.
Installing A HDD / SSD
To install a 2.5" HDD / SSD please proceed according to the steps described:
1.
Open the device as described in the subsection 5.1 "Opening and Closing the Chassis" (step 1-5 & 8).
2.
Loosen and remove the Phillips screw (Figure 4, pos. 13) that secures the hard disk bracket (Figure 4, pos. 12) to
the chassis. Retain the screw for later use.
3.
Slightly slide the hard disk bracket backward to disengage it from the chassis.
4.
Align the screw holes located on the back side of the HDD / SSD with the screw holes (Figure 4, pos. 15) of the hard
disk bracket and then screw the HDD / SSD to the bracket from the back side of the bracket.
5.
Replace carefully the hard disk bracket to the system by placing the hooks of the bracket (Figure 4, pos. 14) on the
designed holes in the chassis and pushing it forward.
6.
Secure the hard disk bracket on the chassis with the retained screw (Figure 4, pos. 13).
7.
Connect the SATA data cable connector (Figure 4, pos. 2) and SATA power cable connector (Figure 4, pos. 3) to the
HDD / SSD.
8.
In order to close the device, proceed step 11 - 12 described in the subsection 5.1 "Opening and Closing the Chassis".
5.1.3.
Installing An mPCIe Expansion Card
To install an mPCIe expansion card please proceed according to the steps described:
1.
Open the device as described in the subsection 5.1 "Opening and Closing the Chassis" (step 1-5 & 8).
2.
Locate the mPCIe socket (Figure 4, pos. 4) and the corresponding fixing bolt (Figure 4, pos. 7 or 8 depending on
mPCIe expansion card size).
3.
Align the notche on the mPCIe expansion card with the notch in the mPCIe socket. Insert the mPCIe expansion card
into the corresponding socket and rotate it down with the fixing hole of the mPCIe expansion card over the fixing
bolt.
4.
Press the mPCIe expansion card down on the side with the fixing hole and secure it with the available fastening
screw.
5.
In order to close the device, proceed step 11 - 12 described in the subsection 5.1 "Opening and Closing the Chassis".
A screwable fixing bolt is provided onboard. Screw the fixing bolt to the corresponding
position depending on the size of card.
