ROUND PROFESSIONAL DIGITAL SCALE

Thank you for purchasing San Jamar’s NSF Certified Round Professional Digital Scale (SCDGP11).  

Please take a moment to review the key features and instructions for use.

I. Initial Setup
 

A. Insert batteries into the battery compartment located beneath the scale.

 

B. Place the stainless steel plate on the scale.

II. Weight Measurement
 

A. Press the On/Tare/Off button on the scale.

 

B. Press the g/oz button to change the units of measurement.

 

C. Place an item on the scale in the center of the platform.

III. Tare (Add & Weigh)
 

A. Ignore the weight of a container:

 

 

1. Turn on the scale and place the container on the platform.

 

 

2. Press the On/Tare/Off button and zero weight will display.

 

 

3. Add items into the container to be weighed.

 

B. Find the individual weight of multiple items in one container:

 

 

1. Press On/Tare/Off to reset the scale back to zero weight.

 

 

2. Add additional items to be weighed.

 

 

3. Repeat steps 1-2 for each additional item.

 

C. Reset the scale back to zero weight:

 

 

1. If nothing is on the scale and it does not read zero weight, press 

                                    On/Tare/Off button to reset the scale back to zero.
IV. Automatic Shut-Off
 

A. The scale will turn off after 5 minutes of inactivity to save battery

V. Cleaning Instructions
 

A. Clean the scale with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. DO NOT SUBMERGE IN LIQUID.

 

B. Apply an approved food grade sanitizer to sanitize before use.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

ATTENTION: When using the tare feature, the weight of the container cannot exceed 11 lbs. or 5 kg. Once the 

total weight actually on the scale reaches the maximum capacity of 11 lbs. the overload warning code (EEEE) will 

display. If load cell is damaged or needs recalibration load cell warning code (Out2) will display. If scale is not on a 

stable surface the unstable environment warning code (unst) will display.
