Try the following solutions if you are having issues with the remote.
There is something wrong
with the TV
Try this!
I can't control the TV with
the remote.
Samsung Smart Remote can become disconnected from the TV. Point Samsung Smart
Remote towards the front of the TV and press and hold
and
buttons for at least three
seconds.
The remote will be slow to respond or completely unresponsive if its battery level is low. In
this case, replace the batteries. We recommend alkaline batteries for longer use.
The remote control
batteries run out quickly.
The battery power may be consumed quickly whether the Samsung Smart Remote that can
support the voice interaction far away from the remote control, is used frequently or the
Voice Wake-up function is activated.
You can extend the battery life by turning off the
Voice Wake-up
function.

Record
Try the following solutions if you are having issues with Scheduled Recording or Timeshift.
Depending on the model, this feature may not be supported.
There is something
wrong with the TV

The Timeshift or
recording function
cannot be used.
Make sure a storage device has been connected to the TV.
Make sure the broadcast you are trying to record is on a digital channel that supports
recording. The recording process also ends automatically if the broadcast signal is weak or
cannot be found.
Check the storage device to see if there is enough space left on it. The feature might not work
if there isn't enough space to record on.
Recording features are not supported with an external device or
Samsung TV Plus
as the
source.
Carefully read all related precautions before using a recording feature. For more information,
refer to "Before Using Record or Timeshift".
The "Format Device"
message appears when
the Timeshift or
recording function is
used.
In order to use the recording feature, you will need to format the storage device connected to
the TV.
Formatting the storage device will delete all data stored on the device and format the device
in NTFS file format.
I can’t play recording files
from the TV on my PC.
TV recordings can only be played back on the TV. The files will not play on a computer or
another TV.
