Adjusting Picture Options Manually
To adjust the picture options manually:

Highlight the Picture icon and press ENTER.

Highlight Custom Picture and press ENTER.

Highlight the picture adjustment you wish to make
(contrast, brightness, tint, color or sharpness) and
press ENTER.
The menu will be replaced with a control bar.

Move the I-Point control to the left to lower the value or
to the right to increase the value.
When you have finished, the control bar will disappear,
returning you to the Custom Picture menu.

To make additional adjustments, repeat steps 3 – 4 above.
When you have finished adjusting the picture options,
press ENTER.

Press EXIT to exit the menu.
Using Preset Picture Options
The picture options let you choose from Samsung’s preset
picture settings that are designed especially for certain kinds
of programming.
To select a preset picture option:

Highlight the Picture icon and press ENTER.

Highlight Picture Options and press ENTER.

Highlight the preset picture option you wish to set.
Your choices are:
Standard
Resets the picture option to the factory settings.
Sports
Enhances the realism and excitement of sports programs.
Movies
Enhances the mood and tone characteristics of films.

he HDTV picture options allow you to control the following settings: contrast, brightness,
tint, color and sharpness. Or, you can take advantage of preset picture options, which auto-
matically adjust the settings based upon the type of program you are watching.
For example, if you select the “Sports” option, the settings will accentuate the vivid colors and
sharpness of sporting events.
NOTE
You can also select preset picture
options without using the menus.
Press P.MODE on the remote control
and the preset picture options display
appears. Press P.MODE repeatedly to
cycle through the options until the
option you desire is displayed. After
3 – 4 seconds, the display will disap-
pear and the HDTV will be set to the
new picture mode.
