Display Settings
Changing the Text Greeting
The text greeting can be up to 14 characters and is displayed on your
phone’s screen in standby mode. You may choose to keep the phone’s
default greeting (“Qwest”), or you may enter your own custom greeting.
To display or change your greeting:
1.

Display

Greeting
> Custom

Enter a custom greeting using your keypad and press

“Entering Text” on page 40.) (To erase the existing greeting one
character at a time, press

Changing the Backlight Time Length
The backlight setting lets you select how long the main display screen and
keypad are backlit after any key press is made.
To change the main display setting:

Note:
Long backlight settings affect the battery’s talk and standby times.
