Installing on a Wooden Wall

Required Tools

The following tools are necessary to install the SMG-400 system on a wooden wall. Prepare these
tools in advance.

Cross-shaped driver (6.5mm)

Two screws with cross-recessed heads

Installing

1. Tear out the <Screw Position Indicating Diagram> attached to this guidebook.

2. Attach the <Screw Position Indicating Diagram> to the wall on which the SMG-400 system

will be installed.

3. Drive the screws into the wall at the screw positions indicated on the <Screw Position

Indicating Diagram> using the cross-shaped driver. Here, do not tighten the screw until its head
contacts the wall. Let the head of the screw be separated from the wall by 5 mm.

4. After driving the two screws into the wooden wall, detach the <Screw Position Indicating

Diagram>.
