Installing the System
Installing on the Wall
The SMG-400 system can be put on a table or hung on a concrete or wooden wall. This section
describes a method for installing the SMG-400 system on a concrete or wooden wall. When
installing the SMG-400 system on a table, skip this section and go to the next step entitled
“
Connecting Cables
”.
Installing on a Concrete Wall
Required Tools
The following tools are necessary to install the SMG-400 system on a concrete wall. Prepare
these tools in advance.

Electric drill, Hammer

Cross-shaped driver (6.5mm)
y
Two plastic anchors, Two screws with cross-recessed heads
Installing
1. Tear out the <Screw Position Indicating Diagram> attached to this guidebook.
2. Attach the <Screw Position Indicating Diagram> to the wall on which the SMG-400 system
will be installed.
3. Bore holes in the wall at the screw positions indicated on the <Screw Position Indicating
Diagram> using an electric drill. The depth of each hole should be at least 35mm, and the
diameter of each hole should be about 5.5mm, so that the plastic anchors can be easily inserted
into the holes.
